WHO WE ARE
Our mission is to protect human rights online. We research and raise awareness about the growing harms happening online and encourage decision-makers to help build a more responsible digital world.
WHAT WE STUDY
We research and raise awareness about the growing harms happening online, including:
- • The impact of social media on children and teens
- • Online abuse of marginalized groups, including rising antisemitism, anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric, racism, and gender-based discrimination
- • Misinformation that confuses and divides us, particularly around climate change and public health
WHY IT'S IMPORTANT
When harmful content spreads online, it doesn’t just stay there. It shows up in schools, workplaces, neighborhoods, and homes. It changes what people believe about the world and about each other. But with the right tools and partnerships, we can turn the tide.
We can empower communities, protect young people, and create digital spaces where respect, empathy, and truth rise to the top.
